Roof Height off of Ground, in feet (note estimated or measured)

Roof Area (of contiguous section, dimensions or, best guess at ft2 )

Roof Type (architectural, three-tab, shingle asphalt, fiberglass, metal, tile, etc.)

Roof Age (years)

Appearance (if known) date of black streaks

Roof Pitch (angle to horizon, if not exactly known, pick between “shallow” or “steep”)

Roof Color (see next page for suggestions on standard “colors”)

Roof Brand (if known)

Roof Prior Treatments (if known)

Roof Surroundings (shade, trees, etc.)

Roof Drainage Notes (gutters, downspouts to ground or drains, etc.)

Roof Layers (if known, i.e. newer roof on older)

Roof Abutments (gables or chimney above, vents, etc.)
